To sum up my spiel from three days ago ... small card show, decide to wait for the big one in two weeks, get money, reconsider, load up on goodies, post, post, post.

Part 4 - Slurry

We're at the final day of this little adventure. The previous three posts had a card theme. Today does not. I've got a nice melange of goodies to wrap up the showtime. Onward, ho.

Some 2013 Archives goodness. The Hal Morris is a short print. The quad sticker insert is obviously mine due to the Eric Davis quadrant but it's nice to see former Red Dave Parker in his more familiar uniform. And the Davis/Phillips combo is an excellent pairing, but dagnabbit, Topps, reusing the Davis pic already? Come on.

2013 Topps Spring Fever Todd Frazier/Devin Mesoraco. I think these are a little too cheery for my taste. But I'd been eyeballing these for a while now. Now I have them.

The only "old" pickups from the show. 1994 Diamond Kings Barry Larkin and 1993 Upper Deck Iooss Collection Barry Larkin. I'd known of these inserts, but had never seen them. Neither would be particularly special if not for Barry. It's nice to close out some 90's Reds sets.

A couple Vottos for ya. 2012 Bowman Platinum Emerald and 2009 Topps Ticket to Stardom Ticket to Stardom. Yes, an insert set named after it's parent set. Strange. The Emerald looks a lot slicker on the scan than in the page. Shows some cool depth.

Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuce. 2009 Upper Deck Timeless Moments Black serial numbered out of 149. 2009 Upper Deck Genration Now. Sweet.

And the last group of the bunch. 2013 Topps Museum Collection Aroldis Chapman. 200? Topps Gallery Johnny Bench short print. 2012 Archives Ken Griffey short print. 2013 Panini Golden Age Pete Rose. 2013 Panini USA Ken Griffey Jr. All good lookin'

Now I'm all geared up for the big Vet show in 10 days. Ungggghh. Go Reds.
