Round 1 Ridiculous Recap

In preparation for tonight's Reds-Pirates Wild Card game, I've already started drowning myself in ethyl alcohol based imbibements. Gonna be an insane game, I predict. Hit batsmen, base-running anomalies, and questionable relief choices will all be in plentiful abound. Perhaps the insanity will rise to the level of my tournament setup, hereby redubbed simply The Ridiculous Card Tournament. 

We started out with 512 hand-picked cards from my binders. You wonderful readers have managed to reduce it to 128; no trivial feat. Some great cardboard has been left behind, but such are the fickle wheels of fortune. Worry not of their fate, as we are now rid of the chaff and left with threshed, golden grains of cardboard goodness.

The most notable stat, to me is that there are ZERO autographs and ZERO relics in Round 2. I avoided them mostly during the selection phase, but the dozen and a half or so that made it all got steamrolled in the voting. Good on ya, readers. We're all classicists here at Red Cardboard.
