Completely Red: 1982 Fleer

This set, ooh, I don't know. It's pretty boring. It was only Fleer's second year, so I suppose we can assume they were still trying to figure this whole thing out. But geez. You couldn't come back for photos when it wasn't overcast? And did you think being slightly out of focus might fix it? Did you use one of those WalMart disposable cameras? And how about some semblance of a card design? Could it BE any more basic? Yeesh.

There's a tiny bit of redemption with the Big Red Machine and Dynamic Duo cards. I enjoy bonus subsets without a theme. These seam to have disappeared by the 90's. And there are some good names here (Bench, Seaver, etc) so it's not a total failure. That's right. 1982 Fleer: Not a Total Failure.
