Coming off one of the greatest years of baseball for any team, the 1977 Topps set is jam-packed with all-time Reds goodness. In 1976, The Big Red Machine sent 7 players, including 5 starters, to the All Star Game (which was coached by Sparky Anderson), went 102-60 (1st Place in the NL West), swept the Phillies for the NL Pennant, then swept the Yankees to win their second consecutive World Series. Decent.
The Reds would get 32 cards in the set, including two leaders cards and four playoff cards, including a suh-weet Pete Rose NL Championship card.

Looks like you might need an upgrade on that Driessen. Let me see what I got
ReplyDeleteRight on. It doesn't bother me too much. All it means is I probably got it for a dime somewhere, which is a victory in my book.
DeleteHave plenty in my collection that look just like that
