1970 O-Pee-Chee stopped at card #546. Above #546 in the Topps set were Pete Rose and Johnny Bench. Without those two in the Maple Mojo Parallel set, this was doable.
There were still some tough cards here. Petey with Clemente is huge. Perez/Santo/McCovery is a Hall of Fame trio. Lee May fans and stans gotta pony up Hank Aaron prices.
This Reds squad was stacked.
Ah, we do get a Johnny Bench at the end. Hooray and huzzah. He absolutely asploded that newspaper.
I've enjoyed snagging Chees now that I've piled up the Topps flagships so well. Shifting the collection into hard mode. Lord have mercy on the credit card.
