What would a proper card collector be without 15 to 30 projects with no end in sight? Makes each card seem like a minor triumph, though.

6. John Madden - NFL HoF Binder (shockingly few Madden cards, despite a billion with his name on them in some form)
7. Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard - Basketball HoF Binder (Kobe prices are nuts, kids)
8. Duane Washington Jr., Jamison Battle - Ohio State Alumni
9. MJ - biggest card needed for my 1991-92 Fleer set build
10. Ickey Woods - Puts me over 100 for this PC
11. Anthony Munoz - No-License Topps makes him look like a Cleveland Brown. Barf.
13. Max McCormick, Georgii Merkulov, Tanner Laczynski, Matt Tomkins - OSU Alumni

I'm very surprised there aren't more John Madden cards. I think I only have two of his trading cards. One is that Topps insert you shared. The other is part of a board game from the 90's.
ReplyDeleteAs for Kobe (and MJ)... it's crazy how popular their cards are right now. Outside of some of their harder to pull inserts, parallels, etc... I can't imagine their card values can soar much higher.
Madden only has 39 in the database. About a dozen aren't even really cards, about 15 are modern 1 of 1 things, a few are modern /150 or cut autos. Maybe 7 are normal football card releases. Crazy.
