Another letter in the "Everyone Who Made The Show and Played for The Clippers" Binder. Whose name keeps mysteriously changing.
There have been 51 players with first name D to make the majors and play for my Clippers. And two managers. I have 52 of these 53. Ouch. Only missing Jose de la Torre, who pitched 11 innings in the majors and 10 innings for the Clippers, and has only 10 cards out there, all local Minor League issues. Hoping for a TCDB miracle.
Bucky Dent, Chili Davis, Josh Donaldson, and Doug Drabek are the standouts, to me anyway. Bucky is the only person to have played for and managed the Clippers. This trivia will never come in handy. Russ Davis auto in the Clippers uni was a nice pickup for a buck. Chase DeLauter, if you recall, made his MLB debut in a playoff game for Cleveland, which is bizarre.
