Been gone for a week. I know. You
totally missed me, right? Well crawl out from under your card desk,
unfurl yourself from that fetal position, dry those tears, and get ready
to celebrate, because Red Cardboard is unloading everything. Everything
I don't want, that is. This includes everything non-Reds related as
well as all the pesky Reds doubles. I want them gone. Vamoosed. Hoffaed.
And you, gracious readers, get the loot.
First, let's look at the giveaway packages, then we'll go over how to get an entry into the drawing.
Prize Package #1: Vintage (~80% Reds)
Rundown:
5 from the 50's including a 1950 Bowman Joe Nuxhall, 8 from the 60's
including a trimmed Willie Mays/Frank Robinson 1966 Topps Leaders and an
Elston Howard, 4 1975 Topps Minis including a Johnny Bench/Boog Powell
MVP, Tony Perez 1970 Topps Scratch Off, 34 from the 70's including Boog
Powell, Lou Piniella, Gaylord Perry Bobby Bonds, Carl Yastrzemski, Tommy John, Rollie Fingers, Johnny Bench, Dave Concepcion, Joe Morgan, George Foster, Tony Perez. Various condition.
Prize Package #2: Big Box (~33% Reds, I think)
Rundown: A 660-count box full of random goodness. I've plucked all
parallels and inserts out of there for other prize packages, so don't
expect anything fantastic. But in here is a big ol' pile of cards, the
majority from the 2000's. All the stuff in here from the 90's is limited
to All Stars/Hall of Famers. Also, a lot of the cards are sleeved, so
there's fewer than 660 cards. But it's still jam-packed with goodies.
Prize Package #3: Refractors/Xfractors (All Reds but 1)
Rundown:
23 Refractors of various colors. Some Xfractors, a little bit of color.
Includes Johnny Cueto, Jay Bruce, Devin Mesoraco, Mat Latos, Mike
Leake. The only non-Red is a Mike Minor Xfractor.
Prize Package #4: Inserts (~60% Reds)
Rundown:
47 various insert cards, mostly from 2011-2013. Includes Ricky
Henderson, Brian McCann, Lou Gehrig, Johnny Bench, Aroldis Chapman, Adam
Dunn, Johnny Cueto, Pete Rose.
Prize Package #5: Autographs/Relic
Rundown:
Brad Peacock 2013 Topps Chasing the Dream, Sean Buckley 2012 Bowman (a
generous PWE gift I already had), Bob Howry 1994 Signature Rookies,
In-Person autos from Hal Morris, Steve Foster, JD Closser, and a Jason
Motte 2013 Topps Heritage Clubhouse Relic.
Prize Package #6: 2013 Topps Parallels (~37% Reds)
Rundown: 6 Target, 4 Emerald Sparkle, 4 Gold, 13 WalMart. Includes Yu Darvish, Tyler Skaggs, Aroldis Chapman, Johnny Cueto, Russel Martin, Adrian Beltre, Tim Lincecum, Ivan Nova.
Prize Package #7: Various Parallels (~78% Reds)
Rundown: 46 mixed parallels. Lots of Bowman Gold, some Topps Sparkles, a few Gypsy Queen Minis, some Topps Gold, and a splash of other goofiness. Includes Frank Robinson, Aroldis Chapman, Jay Bruce, Adam Dunn, Johnny Cueto, Wade Miley, Tim Hudson.
Prize Package #8: Joey Votto/Barry Larkin
Rundown: 28 Joey Vottos including some Refractors/inserts and 20 Barry Larkins.
Whew.
That's a lot of goodies. Ok, how do we win prizes, RC? The way I'll do
this is you can earn multiple entries into a random drawing through a
variety of means.
