I wondered if Bob was the only player ...Great find! I wondered if Bob was the only player named Spade. He was. I couldn't find out much about him. One bio says he died penniless and that fans raised money for his burial. He is buried at Tison Road Cemetery in Akron Ohio. Cause of death may have been Atrophic Cirrhosis of the liver. He has a T-206 card.
