Too Odd for Their Own Good (Oddball World Cup Update)

After long, long,..., LONG await, we've finished the Group Stage of The Oddball World Cup. The Cameroons and Serbias of the oddballs have given way to the Germanys and Brazils. Here's the brackets. Top two from each group moved on. These brackets will be quick work for us. Good job by you.

Moving on from Groups O/P are 1993 Milk Bone Barry Larkin, 1992 Kellogg's Tony Perez, 1991 Mootown Snackers Chris Sabo, and 1989 Toys 'R Us Chris Sabo.

Now, let us mourn the 'Too Odd for Their Own Good' All Stars. These winless entrants barely put up a fight. Piled together, we can see why. Yeesh.

  1. A fair amount of my personal favorites in these groupings... shows what taste I have (or rather, lack) then.

    1. Yeah, I can't believe a Griffey would go winless. And I love the Sunoco card. Sad it got whooped.

    1. Soon. Too busy at work lately, sadly. Stupid responsibilities.
