More Reds Not Reds

I am officially in love with my new project, Reds Not Reds (one card of every Reds player with a different team).  We're going out for a nice seafood dinner, a carriage ride around town, some cocktails, then I'm totally throwing a move on her at the end of the night.

Here are some more scans.

I remember that Jason Bere was supposed to be a superstar for the White Sox. Kinda fell off the table his third year and never really recovered.

Billingham is repping the under-the-radar Big Red Machine pitching staff. 53 wins from 1973-1975.

Hey, remember when people cared about leading the league in putouts? These stat nerds are ruining the game, I tells ya! President Coolidge should lock em all up!

Curt Flood started his career in Cincy. 4 plate appearances over 2 seasons. One hit. Reds Hall of Fame material.

Sparky is upset he's not managing the Reds.

George Foster will not let those chops go quietly into the night.

Paul Konerko: 55 games for the Dodgers, 26 for the Reds, 2268 for the White Sox.

Go Reds.

  1. Good stuff.

This project is like cheating on your Reds collection with its sister. Closely linked, but very different. New and exciting. You know it's wrong but it feels so right!

  2. Nice project but wow, that could get cumbersome. If you ever are looking to trade, let me know. I could probably at least 4 of your Top Eleven Needs. http://nolansdugout.blogspot.com/

    1. It is quite cumbersome, but I enjoy it. And I wish I could trade, but I am pitifully low on anything worthy of a trade. I had a great purge and I just don't buy anything non-Reds anymore.
