Get To Know Your Reds: Part 27 - Jeff Reardon

According to Baseball Reference there have been 1,891 different players who got into a major league game as a Cincinnati Red/Red Stocking/Redleg as of the end of the 2014 season. So I threw them all into a randomizer and off we go.

Debut: 1979 with the Mets

Final Major League Season: 1994, with the Yankees




His 16 season career saw time with the Mets, Expos, Twins, Red Sox, Braves, Reds, and Yankees.
Was initially drafted by the Expos at age 17, but went to college at UMass-Amherst instead.
Was a 4-time All Star (1985, 1986, 1988, 1991).

Became the all-time saves leader in 1992 with his 342nd save. He would finish with 367, currently 8th all-time.
Rolaids Relief Man of the Year in 1985 while leading the league in saves.
Pitched in 4 games for the Twins in a 1987 World Series win.
