Check Out My 'Check Out My Cards' Cards - Part 2/2

Part 1 be here.
------------------------
The rest of the COMC order. Let's do it to it.

1952 Topps Bobby Adams. Despite the moderness of the package, I just had to get a few vintage anyway. This is my 16th '52. I'm running out of non-high numbers to pick up. I don't ever see myself dropping two C-notes on a Cal Abrams either.

1965 Topps Roger Craig. This is a replacement for a successful TTM.

1966 Topps Rub-Offs Jim Maloney. Joins Deron Johnson in the binder.

2013 Bowman Chrome Prospects Blue Wave Wrapper Redemption Tanner Rahier, Jeff Gelalich, Kevin Franklin, Ismael Guillon. Ok, back to modern schtuff. These are purdy. And oddly, not chromed even though it's Bowman Chrome.

2013/2014 Topps Chrome X-fractors Aroldis Chapman. You watch him last night? You should have. Dude was DEALIN'.

2006 Topps Chrome Black Refractors Chris Denorfia #'d/549, 2011 Bowman Blue Mike Leake #'d/500. No reason at all for these two purchases.

2013 Topps Chrome Purple Refractors Johnny Cueto, 2014 Topps Museim Collection Copper Tony Cingrani. Same here.

Then this happened. The accidental rainbow.

2010 Bowman Prospects Chrome Orange #'d/25, Chrome Gold #'d/50, Chrome Blue #'d/250, Chrome Refractor #'d/777, Chrome Purple #'d/999, Chrome, Orange #'d/250, Blue #'d/520, Black. I already had the Chrome Gold and the regular Chrome. I also have the base card. These were all just sitting there for cheap. The only one I "overpaid" for was the Chrome Orange, but it's only out of 25, so whatever. If you're wondering, Alexis Oliveras spent 2007-2010 in the Reds farm system, beginning at age 18 out of Puerto Riceo, and never going above Single-A. Then he spent a year and a half in independent leagues and called it a career at age 22. So take that you high-end rainbow guys. This is just as good! Totally! There are 13 non-plate versions, so I'm missing the Red /1, the Chrome Red /5, and the Chrome Superfractor /1. I will never see these.

Nice little pile of goodies. Reds are 1-0. Todd Frazier is the man. Cueto and Chapman are invincible. Go Reds.

  2. Chapman - two years of Topps and throwback uniforms on both cards.
