TTM Goodness: Jerry Spradlin

Jerry Spradlin spent 7 years in the majors with 6 teams, pitching in 310 games, all but one in relief. He was drafted by the Reds in '88 and debuted with them in '93, pitching in 37 games that year with a 3.49 ERA. He would only pitch in 7 more games for the Reds before being waived. He would later pitch for the Phillies, Indians, Giants, Royals, and Cubs. He also saw minor league time with the Marlins, Cardinals, Diamondbacks, and Orioles before retiring from baseball in 2004. In 1999 he became the 49th pitcher to strikeout 4 batters in one inning. Signed is a 1994 Stadium Club #56.

Go Reds.

  1. Completely forgot he saw time with the Cubs; I guess I tried to scrap the 8.40 ERA from my brain!
