The Junkie is a Pusher

This is what will be one of certainly thousands of upcoming posts in the bloggy world about a random mail bomb from The Junior Junkie

Let us peruse the treasures that lie in store, eh?

Startin' off pretty strong here. 2014 Topps Chrome Blue Refractor #'d/199. I'm 22 cards behind RCC for this card's rainbow! I'm not optimistic.

1991 Studio Preview Eric Davis. This was an 18 card set, placed in 4-card packs into 1991 Donruss factory sets to entice everyone with this impending new brand. It's a different photo than the regular studio base card, which is good.

2015 Topps Heritage Billy Hamilton SP. Noice. There are two other Reds SP's (Frazier and Votto). I may or may not ever own them. I may or may not ever care.

2013 Panini Hometown Heroes John Franco ZIP Code parallel. Indeed the uniqueiest of parallels. This is the ZIP code of the Reds' ball park, not where Franco is from, if you're curious.

2014 Topps Heritage Devin Mesoraco, 2014 Bowman Prospects Chrome Tejay Antone, 1998 Pacific Aurora Barry Larkin. This is my 698th Larkin. I am not a Larkin collector. Seriously. They just happen. All the time. So many.

And the closer. 2010 Topps Tribute Autograph Relics Blue Orlando Cabrera #'d/75. This card is exceptionally purdy in person. This is my first auto of Mr. Cabrera, bringing my Reds auto player count to 306. Suhweet. Cabrera had a 15 year career for 9 teams. He was the Reds' full-time shortstop for one year, 2010. I will pretend this swatch is from that lone Reds year.

Thanks for feeding my habit, TJ. Go Reds.

  1. We'll have to match Larkin lists at some point since I am a Larkin Collector!

  2. You'll get there, it's just like a fine wine in that it takes time. But I'm not much of a fan of wine...I prefer craft beers myself!
