TTM Goodness: Leary, Crabbe, Roper

Tim Leary was drafted by the Mets as the second overall pick in 1979 and would get his big league debut for them in 1981. He would play for 7 teams in his 13-year career (Mets, Brewers, Dodgers, Reds, Yankees, Mariners, Rangers) which included 14 starts for the Reds in 1989. He won a rare pircher's Silver Slugger award in 1988 and homered off Steve Carlton. Signed is a 1989 Score Traded #52T.

Tim Crabbe was drafted by the Reds in 2009. He's been working his way through our farm system and spent 2014 in AAA Louisville, starting 12 games and appearing in 30. He also suited up for Italy in the WBC in 2013. Signed is a 2012 Bowman Chrome Prospects #BCP42.

John Roper was drafted by the Reds in 1990 and debuted for them in 1993. He would start 30 games for Cincy in '93 and '94, going 8-7. Then, after two starts in 1995, he was shipped to the Giants where he would get one more inning of work before calling it a career. Signed is a 1994 Stadium Club #476.

Go Reds.
