1919-21 W514 Strip Cards Ivey Wingo

Cheapie eBay pickup. These were some of the first strip cards made. Kind of weird lookin, and beat to hell, but dangit, I love me some super vintage. As for Ivey Wingo, he spent 17 years in the majors, 13 with Cincy. He was the catcher for the 1919 World Series winning squad (yeah, we forget, with all the Black Sox hubbub, somebody actually won that Series) and at one point held the NL record for games caught. I can't find any other source showing his name was Ira, which is odd. Ivey Brown Wingo, often misspelled as Ivy, seems to be his birth name. ERROR CARD!

Go Reds.
