TTM Goodness - Dan Wilson, Jeff Russell, Scott Carroll

Be sure to vote in the Ugstravaganza, kids.
---------------------------------------------------------
Dan Wilson was drafted by the Reds in 1990 then quickly made his debut for them in 1992. He would only play 48 games for the Reds in '92-'93 before being shipped to Seattle, where he would play for 12 years, with an All Star nod in 1995. Wilson holds the AL record for fielding percentage for a catcher with 0.995, which is pretty incredible. He became a member of the Mariners Hall of Fame in 2012. Signed is a 1993 Donruss #6.

Jeff Russell was drafted by the Reds in 1979 and would debut for them in 1983. After 40 starts over two years, Russell was sent to the Rangers, where he would begin his transition to closer. He led the league in saves in 1989 and became a 2-time All-Star in '88 and '89 with Texas. After 8 years with the team, he had brief stints with Oakland, Boston, and Cleveland, before finishing his career back with the Rangers in 1995-1996. He is currently the pitching coach for the independent Grand Prairie AirHogs. Signed is a 1984 Topps #270.

Scott Carroll was drafted by the Reds in 2007 and spent five and a half years in our farm system before being released and signed by the White Sox. He made his major league debut this year, and is currently 4-7 with a 4.81 ERA for Chicago. Signed is a 2007 Bowman Draft Draft Picks #BDPP31.

Go Reds.
