This four-part theme is dedicated to cards for which the jersey pictured does not match the team mentioned on the card. There are two main variations: one team mentioned and two teams mentioned (as in, "traded to X").

Many of you team collectors perhaps don't count these in your collective collecting quests. Well I do. Reds jersey... I want it. Reds team logo... I want it. Reds team name... I want it. Non-intrusive "Traded to the Reds"/"Now with Reds" text... I want it. In other words, I'm a bona fide Reds slut. And don't even act like any of you can cast a judgmental stone.

 

Part 2, today, will be all about the NL East.

 

Bought for cash by the Reds from the Phillies in 1983.

Traded to the Reds from the Expos in 1985 with Sal Butera for Dann Bilardello, Andy McGaffigan, John Stuper, and Jay Tibbs.

Traded to the Reds from the Expos in 1995 for Jhonny Carvajal.

Taken off waivers by the Reds in 1995. Previously with the Marlins. The card has a Reds logo on the back, fyi.

Taken off waivers by the Reds in 2006. Previously with the Nationals.

Signed as a free agent with the Reds in 1998 (his second stint with the team). Previously with the Phillies. Also, hails from my hometown.

Signed as a free agent by the Reds in 1995. Previously with the Marlins.

Traded to the Reds from the Expos in 1985 with Bill Gullickson for Dann Bilardello, Andy McGaffigan, John Stuper, and Jay Tibbs.
