Completely Red: 1991 Donruss

Oh, the pure, thick hatred you all have for '91 Donruss. Flimsy card stock, crappy design, laughably over-produced. Seems to be a go-to for mocking the valueless card-boom era. But I don't care. I like it. It's a set coming off my Reds winning the 1990 World Series, so everybody is loved. Two bonus World Series cards, two bonus Chris Sabos, a bonus Barry Larkin. How could I not cherish this set?  Even with the barrage of 90's colors clashing all over the place.

  1. Love the opening paragraph. I do hate this set, but I also love the Grand Slammers subset, those green MVP's, and the original Perez DK's. There are some specks of light in the darkness that is '91 Donruss.
