Monday Card Dump

Enjoy a Monday dump, courtesy of Sportlots, JustCommons, and who the hell knows who else.

1980's Topps Stickers. These totally count as cards, right? I'm not some weirdo who collects stickers, right? Guys?

Ah, Goodwin Champions. Embracing the lack of team logos like, well, a champion, I guess. I believe this is my third card of Johnny Bench in a polo shirt.

Topps Ames 20/20 Kal Daniels (sweet), Topps Glossy Send-Ins Eric Davis, Fleer Heroes of Baseball Eric Davis, Sportflics Pete Rose et al. All from sometime in the 80's. Too lazy to check.

2005 Bazooka. Missing the Griffey, as is the story with many of my sets.

1987 Topps Rookies Kurt Stillwell, More Bazooka goodness with my boy Chris Sabo, 2007 Topps Red Back Jorge Cantu, and an undetermined Fleer sticker. Speaking of 2007 Topps Red Backs...

I don't even know why these exist or why I hunt for them. I've mentioned this before. Hopefully I'll finish the set someday. I currently have 21/28.

Topps Senior League Dan Driessen, George Foster. Ok, now we're talkin. The Senior League was an interesting experiment for 3 years beginning in 1989 (I think) for retired players. I think it was a winter league in Florida. All these facts could be wrong. I still felt the need to grab these members of the Reds HoF.

1993 Topps Finest Kevin Michell, Bobby Kelly. The best Finest year. I'm sorely lacking in these.

Boom. You just got Bipped, Topps Black Gold style.

Go Reds.

  1. I remember when Kal Daniels came to the Dodgers. He brought good power numbers from Cincy and I wanted to like the guy...but he was mostly a flop here.

BTW..In case you haven't seen it, I have Reds trade bait posted over at ATBATT.
