A Larkin Retrospective - Part 5: Invasive Adjectives

Sometimes, Barry Larkin dazzles the card designers so much, their descriptions of his play overtake the Photoshop screen. A mere photo will not do. They need choice descriptors smattered across the card. Their prose cannot be contained. How fitting for a man who defied words. Or something.

PRESENCE. Larkin had it.

MYSTIQUE. Larkin also had it.

POWER. Larkin... well... I guess a little.

TRUE GRIT. That's better. With and without the foil stamp.

RANGE ROVIN'.

HIT PARADIN'.

BAT PATROLIN'.

Larkin had STAR POWER. How'd he get it? Clearly he was STRUCK BY STARS. ALL OF THEM.

AWARD WINNIN'.

INTIMIDATIN'.

So extreme he chartered membership in THE EXTREME CORPS.

SO SPIRITFUL.

DOMINATION, son.

IMPACTIN' THE GAME, BABY.

FRANCHISES? We got all kinds of 'em.

Put him on your COVERS, kids.

Comin' out of retirement for an ENCORE? Better believe it. My boy could start on about 15 teams right now.

Go Reds.
