I Choo-Choo Choose Choo

Jack, over at Baseball Dad's All Tribe Baseball, and I are both Ohioans who both support our local team with unashamed abandon. In blog-o-land, we're practically next door neighbors. With the Indians dealing Shin-Soo Choo to the Reds recently, it's apt that Choo is featured in the latest Indians cards being dealt for Reds cards bonanzaganza. The highlights:

2013 Topps Opening Day Purple Shin-Soo Choo. My first purple from this set. To be honest, I didn't even know this was a thing. I only knew of the blue sparklies.

200something Tristar Prospects Plus Joey Votto. Officially a Chattanooga Lookouts card, and even though the Lookouts wore pinstripes from time to time whilst under the Reds spectre, I'm guessing this is a Reds jersey. Either way, a nice addition.

Good ol' Conlon. I needed three of these. And one never has too many Tommy Thevenow cards.

200something Leaf Certified Cuts Rookie /499 William Bergolla. Serials will always do nicely.

And we close out with a Griffey slurry. I needed all three Griffeys sent, which is fantastic. 200something Upper Deck Superior Sluggers, 200something Royal Rookies, 2004 Diamond Kings, which finishes the team set. Sweet, sweet, and sweet.

An excellent swap, Jack. Thanks!

Go Reds.
