Two New On-Card Autos

Snagged a couple cheapie autos from the 'Bay recently. On-cards. Which are leagues and scores better than the sticker autos we, as collectors, have foolishly allowed to become acceptable.

First is a 2002 Bowman's Best Auto Chris Piersoll. Piersoll has an illustrious 11.1 inning big league career, all for Cincinnati, all in 2001, giving up only 3 earned runs and striking out 7. A lifetime ERA of 2.38 sounds pretty good, out of context.

Second is a 1996 Leaf Signature Extended Autographs Dave Burba. Burba had a solid 15-year career with 6 teams where he compiled a 115-87 record and 1,398 strikeouts. Three of those years were spent with Cincy where he earned 28 of those wins as well as a playoff victory in 1995.

Good lookin' cards. Go Reds.
